J. Cole and Lil Pump recently sat down with each other for a conversation, indicating that a supposed beef between the two is over. It was recorded at The Sheltuh (J. Cole’s studio) in North Carolina.

Cole starts off the interview by saying to Pump, “You’re smarter than what people know, what people might give you credit for.” The two discussed how they started rapping, Pump getting kicked out of school in seventh grade, their complicated relationships with their parents (and stepdads), Cole’s KOD track “1985,” and more.
