WWMR’s Top 100 of 2017

Written by on January 4, 2018

It goes down every year, and 2017 was no exception to the rule.

2017 was a year for memes galore, Suede The Remix God had his fun remaking videos and liners into songs, Donald Trump was elected into office, but more importantly, WWMR hit 30.4 million listeners worldwide, with the United States, Netherlands, and Germany being the top 3 listening countries. The report will soon be made public access, but for now, go on and check out the top 100 songs of 2017 on WWMR, as chosen by you.

There were numerous artists who made this year’s countdown, but the number one artist was one who made headlines all of 2017. 2018 Grammy nominated Kendrick Lamar had 4 songs on the countdown, including the number one song. Following behind Kendrick with 3 songs each, were Kevin Gates, Wale, Big Sean, Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper, and Drake.

A special congratulations to WWMR artists Crem de la Crem, Tay G (theTaykeover), Teron James, and Sasha Gomez for also making the top 100 countdown. It’s a huge accomplishment and you should all be proud.

Congratulations to all of the artists for their efforts, and here’s to hoping that 2018 brings you nothing but success.
