Zenesoul (Zen-Soul) is a Juno-nominated Independent R&B/ Soul artist from Brampton, Canada. Touching on the topics of intimate love and self-love, Zenesoul has created a nostalgic yet modern soulful sound that she has been curating since the age of 11. Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and India Arie, Zenesoul creates music to heal. Zenesoul’s music has been featured on leading platforms such as: COMPLEX, NATIVE Mag, Earmilk, Lyrical Lemonade, CBC, CTV and more. Considered a “One of One” by the legendary Kevin Liles of 300 Ent., Zenesoul’s consistency and drive has allowed her to produce 4 EPs since coming out in 2018. Following her Juno nomination for her hit single “Love and be Loved” in 2022, Zenesoul released her 4th EP titled Nene September 2022. As a writer Zenesoul has a thirst for trying new things with her sound and created Nene as a result of her wanting to mix her soulful R&B sound with her Nigerian roots. While releasing the singles from her project Nene, she was given the opportunity to open for the Legendary Sean Paul in Toronto August 2022 and Mario In Calgary September 2022. There is no doubt that the year 2022 has been a huge milestone in Zenesoul’s career and she is determined to continue elevating.
